Sea Adventures March to April:  Witness the parade of playful Humpbacks Whales as they travel to their northern feeding grounds each spring. Whale-watching boat tours in March and April get you up close to these friendly marine mammals, easily spotted in Bermuda’s crystal-clear waters. Travel Tip: Enhance your time at sea with a visit to the crumbling forts on Castle Island or the Vixen shipwreck — fantastic Bermuda spots only accessible by boat.

Fun in the Sun: May to September:  Bermuda’s events and cultural celebrations are in full swing from May to September, like the festive Bermuda Day Long Weekend and thrilling Around the Island Boat Race. Soak up the sun at popular Horseshoe Bay and other beaches on the island, celebrated for their sandy crescent-shaped shores in varying shades of pink. Travel Tip: Sink your toes into the island’s pinkest sand at Warwick Long Bay in Bermuda’s south shore.

Local Flavors: September to March:  An island favorite, spiny lobster graces the menu at nearly every local restaurant from September through March; its tender tail meat draws diners to popular Hamilton spots including The Lobster Pot and Barracuda Grill. Before or after your meal, browse for souvenirs at the capital city’s charming shops like Urban Cottage, which sells new and vintage goods. Travel Tip: Beat the crowds and find a better value when you reserve your stay between November and April.

If you are arriving to Bermuda on a cruise, popular shore excursions include a cruise into the Bermuda Triangle, a tour of the crystal and fantasy caves located in the outskirts of Hamilton, snorkeling, renting a moped and exploring the island, tour of historic St. George, wander and shop around the Royal Naval Dockyard, or spend the day at one of the many pink sand beaches.  Travel Tip:  Make sure and try the local foods, as well as the national Bermudian drinks which are the Rum Swizzle or the Dark & Stormy.
