Non-Thanksgiving Meal Options

While one of the perks of Thanksgiving is getting to eat turkey and all of the delicious sides, you just might not be a turkey fan. That’s okay though as there are several different restaurants you can visit to get a warm meal. These include:

-Denny’s, IHOP and Waffle House. These restaurants are notorious for being open 365 days a year. No matter what you are in the mood for on Thanksgiving, you can probably find it at one of them. All of these restaurants are great places to go if you want to grab some breakfast before you find yourself in the kitchen for hours trying to cook up a turkey dinner. They do have a traditional turkey dinner, as well as lots of breakfast items with seasonal fruit and veggies such as cranberry, pumpkin and sweet potato.

-Legal Sea Foods. On Thanksgiving you can break out of the traditional fare and enjoy a meal of fish or seafood for $24.95 per person and $8.95 for children. There will also be turkey, stuffing and mashed potatoes available.

It is probably a tradition in your family to come together and make a big meal together. However, there are some benefits to having it prepared for you or even going to a restaurant instead. These reasons include not having to deal with prep or clean up, costing less often times than having to buy everything at the grocery store and making it from scratch and not having to find a place to store a bunch of leftovers. It really is up to you to decide if making Thanksgiving dinner is worth it or not. Just know that if you want to leave the cooking up to the professionals this year, there are plenty of restaurants you can visit or order food from. Who knows, eating out on Turkey Day may even become a new family tradition!
