If you’re like me and have traveled often, then you know that not all destinations aren’t as interesting as they seem once you get there. I have a list of my top 5 Caribbean beaches. These are great beaches to keep in mind while choosing the cruise destination that’s right for you.
1. Nassau, Bahamas
Nassau is great if you want to have an underwater adventure. If deep sea diving is your thing then the “Blue Hole” would be right up your alley. It’s a natural hole that runs 100 feet across and 200 feet deep.
2. Shoal Bay, Anguilla
Anguilla has become a popular destination with celebrities. This beautiful island boasts 33 beaches on a 16 mile stretch of island. The wonderful thing about it all is that they are all open to the public.
3. Eagle beach, Aruba
Aruba has always been a popular destination with tourists. All of the beaches located here are open to the public. There are also a number of resorts across the street from plenty of beaches.
4. Phillipsburg, St. Maarten
St. Maarten is a destination that’s popular with travelers from all across the globe. It may be because there is beach nearby that doesn’t mind if you want to run free of the restraint of those pesky bikinis.
5. Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda
Infamous for it’s pink-sand beaches, Horseshoe Bay is known as one the most traveled to beaches in Bermuda. Crushed shells, coral and calcium carbonate is what causes this beautifully pink sand. With a wonderfully blue clear ocean as it’s backdrop this assures it’s popularity with tourists and locals alike.
