G&S, the most popular African American travel group for cruises is taking the party to Dubai in 2018! Travel date is October 8th – 13th, 2018. The trip will be hosted by the group’s promoter and owner, Keith Jones, as well as Celebrity DJ’s. The trip features all white 4×4 desert safari dinner party, a night of elegance dinner private, private Dhow cruise dinner and party, Dubai nightlife, city tours, Abu Dhabi and more. Prices start at just $1,699 pp land only. Airfare rates are not available yet, but there will be group rates from major airports including JFK, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, Ft. Lauderdale and LAX. The TravelDivas.com is also offering a 2018 Dubai trip in February. The group is only open to the first 40 travelers. They are fully escorted with a tour guide, driver and Travel Divas Tour manager. This will be the 5th year that Travel Divas offers a trip to Dubai. Prices start at $3,150 pp double occupancy without airfare, and $4,150 pp with airfare from Atlanta.
Black Travel Movement had a Dubai trip for October 2017, which is now sold out. At the time of this post they had not announced their 2018 trip. We will update as information is released.
BlackGirlTravel.com will be offering a Dubai trip in September 2018. Details will be available by Sept. of this year. Group size is limited to 30 travelers and is for women only.
The same applies to Yates Tours. This travel group is popular for their heritage tours of South Africa. They too offered a 2017 Dubai trip but have no announced whether or not they will offer it again in 2018.
Whoever you choose to travel with, make sure you are aware of the customs and traditions when traveling to Dubai. It is a very safe country to travel to, but there are many different local customs that you should be aware of, so as to not offend the locals, or find yourself in trouble with the law.
